Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple electronic systems (EHR, HR, finance, population health platforms, etc.) to support internal and external reporting requirements.
Identify data quality issues and collaborate with IT and program staff to resolve discrepancies or gaps.
Support agency initiatives related to performance measurement, quality improvement, and outcomes evaluation.
Prepare and submit required reports to funders, payors, and regulatory bodies (SAMHSA, HRSA, ODBH, ADAMH boards)
Provide data insights to inform decision-making, program design, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with leadership to define key performance indicators and ensure data is aligned with agency goals and strategic priorities.
Train staff on interpreting and using data effectively for program management and improvement.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and data privacy standards in all data handling and reporting processes.
Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports that communicate trends and outcomes to leadership and program teams.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Public Health, Health Information Management, or a related field required.
2-3 years of experience in data reporting and analysis, preferably in healthcare, behavioral health, or a nonprofit setting, is required
Strong analytical and statistical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools, including PowerBI.
Working knowledge of EHR systems and healthcare data structures (claims, encounters, diagnosis codes).
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey findings to non-technical audiences.
Understanding of behavioral health metrics, quality improvement frameworks, and compliance requirements preferred.
