Write a high volume of production-quality backend code using Python and/or Kotlin to support fraud decisioning and risk mitigation systems.
Design and implement services, APIs, and data models that power real-time fraud decisions across user and transaction flows.
Extend and evolve core decisioning services, including rules engines, signal ingestion, and evaluation pipelines.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, Risk, and other engineering teams to execute fraud and risk strategy.
Build systems operating within service-oriented and event-driven architectures with strict performance and reliability requirements.

6+ years of experience as a Senior Backend Software Engineer, using Python and/or Kotlin
Experience with AWS or other cloud providers
Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling best practices
Strong understanding of distributed systems, including trade-offs impacting latency, correctness, scalability, and operability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort operating asynchronously through tech specs, design docs, wikis, and project plans
Strong project execution skills, including the ability to break down ambiguous problems and surface risks and trade-offs early
English proficiency at B2+ level or higher.
