Review Python and Kotlin codebases to identify and remove unused or redundant log events to improve system performance and reduce noise
Analyze log data patterns to identify largest sources of volume and associated costs
Provide high-tier developer support by assisting engineers with observability tooling configuration and usage
Document the entire project lifecycle, including initial findings, architectural changes, and long-term recommendations for the platform.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in a software engineering role
Experience with Python or Kotlin
Strong proficiency with programming, alongside experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud infrastructure concepts
Solid experience using scripting and querying tools to process, interpret, and act upon large, complex datasets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to Have: Demonstrated experience working with large-scale observability systems such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Flink, Fluent, ELK Stack, Chronosphere, or Splunk.
