Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and system drawings.
Develop and update bills of material (BOMs) and detailed design documentation.
Apply and ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards (NEC, UL, IEEE).
Collaborate with Electrical Engineers to resolve technical and design issues.
Support manufacturing through drawing revisions, change orders, and troubleshooting.
Participate in design reviews to ensure accuracy, compliance, and manufacturability.
Maintain drawing standards, revision control, and documentation integrity.
Incorporate customer requirements and engineering changes into released designs.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to design processes, documentation, and standards.

Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field
2+ years of experience in electrical design or drafting
Proficiency with electrical CAD tools
Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and power distribution equipment
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Experience in power distribution or industrial electrical systems
Familiarity with UL compliance and manufacturing documentation
Exposure to ERP or PLM systems
Understanding of electrical safety standards and regulatory requirements
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
