Role Overview
- The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role as a physician extender within a remote healthcare team
- Supports providers by managing Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Responds to patient inquiries and delivers clinical guidance
- Conducts follow-up outreach and facilitates communication between patients and healthcare professionals
- Manages inbound and outbound patient communications
- Conducts clinical assessments and triages patients via telephone or patient portals
- Performs administrative and clinical support tasks including medication prescription refills
- Facilitates referrals and collaborates on prior authorization requests
- Assists with inquiries from external agencies
- Participates in Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) programs and provides education related to chronic disease management
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 2–4 years of full-time clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
- Prior telephone triage experience using electronic triage systems
- Experience with at least two different Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms
- Active, unencumbered Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) license required
- Additional non-compact state licensure is considered an asset
- Candidates must be willing to obtain additional state licenses as requested by the company
