About this role
Role Overview
- Provides legal counsel to the company’s Medicare Advantage line of business
- Advising business partners on regulatory, operational, and contractual matters
- Drafting and reviewing provider and vendor agreements
- Conducting legal research
- Supporting audit and regulatory response activities
- Collaborating with Compliance and operational teams to identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risk
Requirements
- Requires a JD and current license to practice law
- Minimum of 3 years of specific industry and/or technical legal experience post-licensure
- Experience in Medicare Advantage strongly preferred
- Healthcare industry experience is preferred
- Managed care or healthcare regulatory law experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a highly regulated industry preferred
- Prior experience at a law firm preferred
