Delivers structural engineering plans, complex designs, and systematic testing methodologies to facilitate the planning, construction, and maintenance services associated with bridges, foundations, and other ancillary structures.
Reviews client business requirements and project specifications to ensure construction projects are developed accordingly.
Leads the delivery of projects following contract guidelines, meeting project schedules, managing assets within project budgets and producing quality products.
Performs quality reviews and independent design reviews for bridges and other highway structures.

Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering
5 to 10 years minimum professional experience designing bridges
Demonstrated experience leading and delivering complex projects
Diverse body of work in the bridge design industry
Experience coaching and leading lower level professionals
Experience delivering quality projects following demonstrated QC/QA protocols
AL Professional License
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel as required by client (typically 20%)
Licensed Structural Engineer with successful completion of 16-hour exam preferred
Master of Civil Engineering preferred
Substantial Experience with AASHTO LRFD
Experience with Bluebeam, ProjectWise, Bentley Engineering software, and ALDOT in house design software preferred
