About this role
Role Overview
Responsible for day-to-day operations of assigned Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) team
Ensuring full compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the USA PATRIOT Act
Confirming investigation, analysis and decision of BSA/AML cases, reports and alerts
Analyzing customer transaction activity to ascertain legitimacy
Communicate results of analysis to FIU leadership and prepare written analysis
Perform detailed testing or monitoring to identify compliance/control issues
Participate in BSA/AML training and develop awareness of compliance trends
Lead, mentor and coach direct reports to include training and regular performance evaluations
Requirements
College Degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience
Five years of managerial banking, financial industry, commercial lending-related or BSA/AML experience
Ability to learn and perform complex processes to meet required regulations
Knowledge of project management and problem management processes
Strong investigative research and documentation skills
Strong analytical, time management and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office
