Integrated work within the Compliance function of the Germany & Alps Cluster, with a focus on Austria and Switzerland
Communication – ongoing relationship-building with employees and UPS departments, interacting with key contacts in other departments and serving as a point of contact for external parties
Participation in risk mitigation work plans
Proactive research on company-relevant changes to laws, rules, and regulations
Support and research for the development, implementation, monitoring, and compliance of policies and procedures, including carrying out corrective actions where necessary
Support for internal audit processes
Monitoring and follow-up of compliance-related online trainings, and creating and translating training materials as needed
Execution of processes for new 3PDD suppliers and annual 3PDD recertification
Creation, development, and updating of reports, dashboards, and presentations to support Germany & Alps Compliance management
Organization and participation in operational or functional meetings
Execution and oversight of various audits
Organization and control of physical and digital records management
Requirements
At least a commercial vocational qualification and/or several years of experience at UPS
Organizational and decision-making skills
Professional and confident communication with internal and external customers
Businesslike demeanor, discretion, organizational talent, and flexibility
Quick comprehension and strategic-conceptual thinking
A high degree of teamwork, motivation, resilience, and reliability
Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
Very good knowledge of the MS Office suite
