Supporting Credit Officers in underwriting, monitoring, and managing portfolios
Managing end-to-end processes involving credit underwriting, ongoing monitoring, and portfolio management
Acting as a primary liaison with credit teams, operations, and other business partners
Assisting underwriters by managing incoming business loan engagements
Performing a variety of credit related tasks following prescribed guidelines
Supporting team by assisting managers in completing special projects
Developing new and reviewing existing procedures for efficiency

2+ years Mortgage industry experience in a credit underwriting environment.
Good working knowledge and understanding of credit documentation
Proficient in MS Office applications with emphasis on Excel, Word, and Access
Strong interpersonal, organization, prioritization, follow-up, and communication skills.
Ability to offer training, mentoring and guidance to new support associates
Experience in a credit underwriting environment with preference for high net worth or commercial credit
HMDA experience preferred
Strong communicator and take -ownership mentality
Strong attention to detail
Self-motivated and willing to make suggestions about process improvements
