About this role
Role Overview
Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach through pitching, negotiating, closing, and expansion
Identify and pursue high-value partnerships with Web3 wallets, neobanks, exchanges, custodians, asset managers, and fintechs across the US market
Build and execute go-to-market strategies tailored to different client cohorts (wallets, embedded wallet providers, neobanks, custodians, funds)
Conduct discovery calls to qualify opportunities, understand client needs, and tailor product positioning
Lead strategic deal negotiations including commercial terms, integration fees, and revenue share agreements
Collaborate with Product and Engineering during integration planning, ensuring smooth handoff after deal closure
Represent Yield.xyz at key conferences, events, and ecosystem gatherings to build brand presence and generate pipeline
Develop deep market intelligence on client needs, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to inform product strategy
Maintain accurate pipeline tracking in Pipedrive and provide regular forecasting and reporting to leadership
Build long-term strategic relationships with clients post-close, identifying expansion and upsell opportunities
Requirements
5+ years in business development, partnerships, sales, consulting, or investment banking, with a strong track record of closing high-value B2B deals
2+ years of Web3-native experience in validators, wallets, dApps, DeFi protocols, or infrastructure companies
Strong sales acumen and proven ability to close large, strategic deals (six to seven figures)
Deep network in target markets, especially across US-based Web3 wallets, neobanks, custodians, and fintech companies
Experience at high-growth startups, ideally in fintech, crypto, or Web3
Strong technical fluency to understand and articulate staking, restaking, DeFi yields, and Web3 infrastructure concepts
Confident, persuasive communicator who can lead executive-level conversations and represent the company at industry events
Self-starter mentality: you can identify opportunities, build strategy, and execute with minimal guidance
Willingness to travel frequently (20-30%) to conferences, client meetings, and ecosystem events
Native-level English fluency; additional languages are a plus.
