Manages the credit union’s overall compliance with applicable rules, regulations and statutory requirements.
Serves as the designated Compliance Officer and subject matter expert in compliance, ensuring the organization remains current and responsive to changes in laws and regulations.
This role is responsible for independently running the Compliance department, leveraging third-party support as needed, and making data-driven compliance recommendations for the business that evaluate the pros and cons of proposed courses of action.
Requirements
Bachelor of Arts/Science degree from an accredited college or university required.
Ten years’ related experience in area(s) such as Lending, Operations, Regulatory Compliance, etc. required.
Knowledge of compliance with consumer lending laws, Bank Secrecy Act and federal banking regulations.
PC skills, organization skills and excellent communication skills.
