Install, configure and virtualize server hardware
Install/configure operating systems, software, network settings
Write deployment scripts and manifests to deploy hardware and platforms consistently
Develop and implement new solutions based on new customer requirements
Pro-actively monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and availability of IT services
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
Implement and maintain backup solutions, including RDBMS replication, recovery and system failover
Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
Monitor and enforce security policies

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or related field) or equivalent combination of relevant education and years of work experience
5+ years of system administration experience
Fluent in English (speak, read, write)
Legally eligible to work in USA
Able to work outside of standard business hours as required
Able to travel approx. 2-4 weeks/year on average
Knowledge of the following: Active Directory, Virtualization, Basic IT Security principles and protocols (TLS, encryption at rest), ITIL processes, IT auditing process (asset)
Any CISSP, LPIC, ITIL, VCP, MCSE, OCA/OCP 12c certifications are assets, but not required
