Work closely with client teams to evaluate health and welfare programs to identify trends, benchmark and measure key financials and specific improvements
Utilize claims analysis tools and develop detailed client reports
Assist in actuarial/quantitative analysis projects under the guidance of senior project team members
Gather, organize, test, and review client or vendor data for accuracy, validity, and reasonableness
Perform analyses and cost projections using Excel, SAS, and other software
Assist in preparing reports for data trend analyses to summarize findings and recommend strategies or plans to the client
Participate in the development of the company's intellectual capital in health insurance actuarial services
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Working knowledge of employee benefit plans with 2 years of industry experience and demonstrated relationship management skills
Ability to coordinate multiple projects while ensuring timely and accurate client deliverables, with effective problem solving and resolution skills
Strong organizational, project planning and management, analytical and multi-tasking skills
Ability to communicate with tact and maintain confidentiality
Excellent relationship building and presentation skills
Superior listening, verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
