New Grad Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory Care Residency Program

Role Overview

• Transition the new graduate or respiratory care therapist with less than twelve months of work experience from the academic setting to the professional environment
• Participate in robust clinical experiences in patient care practices with appropriate support systems

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited RCP program in the last year
• Less than twelve months of work experience
• Current and unrestricted State of Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License or temporary Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR (American Heart Association)
• Additional certifications may be required based on respiratory unit requirements
