Role Overview
Transition the new graduate or respiratory care therapist with less than twelve months of work experience from the academic setting to the professional environment
Participate in robust clinical experiences in patient care practices with appropriate support systems
Requirements
Graduation from an accredited RCP program in the last year
Less than twelve months of work experience
Current and unrestricted State of Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License or temporary Respiratory Care Practitioner license
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR (American Heart Association)
Additional certifications may be required based on respiratory unit requirements
