Develop software tools to facilitate quantum error correction research in fault-tolerant compilation, error modeling, decoding, and resource estimation
Conduct theoretical and computational research in quantum error correction
Interface with software and compiler teams to guide the design of the software stack for large quantum computers
Conduct research in Quantum Error Correction, and implement demonstrations on the world’s most powerful quantum computers
Requirements
PhD Minimum (prior to start date)
Minimum 2+ years of experience (PhD inclusive)
Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status.
Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
