Document technical specifications for development and quality assurance teams.
Demonstrate impeccable attention to detail in your specifications, mockups, and evaluation of implemented products.
Ensure that new features and enhancements fit seamlessly with existing products, technologies and patterns by collaborating with technical leads and developers during design and implementation.
Communicate with development, quality assurance and product teams to advocate for the user and convey the rationale for product, design, and implementation decisions.
Present completed features internally at our regular end-of-sprint demos.
Contribute to improvement of the business system analyst team’s processes and shared knowledge.
Requirements
At least 3 to 5 years of experience as an operational systems analyst or functional analyst, or in a similar role such as product manager or UX/UI strategist, product analyst, product owner, business analyst, or systems integration specialist.
Experience contributing to the design of complex software used by a large number of people, with multiple features added over the years.
Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. or BBA) or a combination of education, training, and equivalent experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working in an agile environment.
A solid blend of technical knowledge and business acumen.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
Experience with UI mockup and prototype design tools (Balsamiq, Figma) or a strong interest in developing this skill.
Experience designing or using APIs or a strong interest in developing this skill.
Experience using JIRA, Aha! or another issue or requirements management tool.
Enthusiasm, integrity, reliability, adaptability, and respect for diversity.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a strategic, big-picture view.
Curiosity about customer needs and potential improvements or adjustments to address them.
Basic knowledge of MS Office.
Because the vast majority of our clients, both internal and external, are located outside Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply. Professional proficiency in French and English is required.
French proficiency is not required for candidates based in Toronto.
