Role Overview
- Performing the following tasks for water distribution, pumping, and/or treatment systems and/or wastewater collection, pumping, and/or treatment systems:
- Design calculations
- Bid documents including specifications and drawings
- State, federal, and local permit applications
- Performing fieldwork such as drone survey support, GPS data collection, infrastructure observations and assessment, water sampling, and construction observation
- Contributing to technical reports describing the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions from field efforts
- Using technical software to support wastewater and drinking water projects
- Using AutoCAD Civil 3D to support planning and design
- Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
- Excellent writing skills
- 2+ years of relevant work experience is a plus but will consider candidates with internship or coop experience as well
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and GIS applications
- Proficient with MS Office software
- EIT certification strongly preferred. If working toward EIT, must obtain within the first year of employment.
- Valid US driver’s license and clean driving record
