Perform basic configuration management tasks such as manage part numbers, structure and review of multi-level bills of materials (BOM), configuration item data entry, change order reviews & data sheet reviews
Analyze basic change management data such as forms, attachments and workflows
Review and process change requests for completeness and accuracy
Create and manage engineering change orders (ECO) and deviations
Ensure required documentation is captured for configuration items and creating traceability of configurations and configuration changes
Manage changes to architecture of a sub-system, alternate sourcing, component changes, etc.
Work closely with various stakeholders to implement product changes and change orders
Ensure changes are communicated and managed throughout the change management lifecycle
Attend/facilitate BOM reviews and provide actionable feedback to architecture and drawings
Support the cross-functional team in the utilization of database tools and processes
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ experience in configuration management
Familiarity with Configuration Management techniques and tools such as PTC Omnify Empower, Agile or TeamCenter
Understanding of software and hardware development lifecycle methodologies
Ability to work under pressure and meet program deadlines
Knowledge of Mil Standard MIL-HDBK-61A/B or SAE International EIA-649 Configuration Management
