About this role

Develop new features across both backend and frontend within a large legacy monolith.
Support and drive frontend modernizations, including migrating components to React.
Apply and advocate for tools, workflows, and practical use of AI that help accelerate the development process.
Troubleshoot and improve complex legacy code while maintaining quality, stability, and performance.
Collaborate with backend-focused developers who have limited frontend experience.

Solid professional experience as a Full Stack Developer working in both backend and frontend contexts.
Proven experience maintaining and enhancing legacy codebases.
Strong knowledge of Java 8 and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred).
Hands-on experience with React or equivalent modern frontend frameworks.
Comfortable reading and improving existing code.
Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based environments.
Understanding of developer productivity tooling and practical applications of AI to improve workflows.
Experience with Web Components or similar UI abstractions is a plus.
