Role Overview
- Strategic and operational leadership of the accounting department with clear responsibility for results and quality
- Overall responsibility for budgeting, forecasts and financial planning
- Active management and monitoring of costs and budgets
- Ensuring the proper preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Analysis and preparation of meaningful financial reports
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration (Diplom-Betriebswirt or Diplom-Kaufmann) or equivalent
- Relevant professional experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounting under German GAAP (HGB) and ideally IFRS
- Some experience in leading/managing employees
- Confident user of ERP systems and MS Office applications
- Fluent in English
