You contribute your expertise to define the system architecture, taking safety requirements into account.
You represent the safety concept to the certification body.
Based on our certified functional safety development process, you define a project structure that is tailored to the specific project.
You advise the development team on all functional safety matters and monitor the creation, implementation and verification of requirements.
You accompany the audit by the certification body.
Within our team of functional safety experts, you exchange information on new developments and current issues.
You contribute to the continuous improvement of our functional safety development process.
You share your expertise and develop engineers into functional safety experts through guidance, mentoring and training.
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering or a comparable qualification
At least 3 years of professional experience in the development of functionally safe embedded systems
Confident knowledge of the standards IEC 61508 and ISO 13849, and, where applicable, project-specific application standards
Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach
Good command of German and English
Strong communication skills, empathy for customer needs, and enjoyment of working in a team
