Responsible for overseeing all external institutional investor reports, including month-end reports, facility utilisation requests, and weekly origination reports
Work with a variety of different data sources and navigate large complex data sets which underpin the investor reports
Act as the lead problem-solver for reporting discrepancies, with the ability to perform deep-dive reconciliations between granular loan-level datatapes and facility summary reports to identify and resolve root causes within complex datasets
Work alongside the Capital Markets deal team to understand the transaction documentation, internal processes and securitisation terminology
Work closely with the Data, Product and Operations teams to improve our processes, enhance data quality and enable efficient management of our funding lines
Responsible for managing and overseeing investor cash sweeps, along with reconciling bank data
Monitor transaction covenants and performance triggers to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
Responsible for managing investor audit requests, including pulling together materials for external audits and responding to auditor’s queries
Collaborate with the Capital Markets, Product and Datateams to design reporting requirements for new products/ new funders
Manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring high performance and accuracy across all deliverables
Help promote the culture of a “data-driven mindset” across the business
Requirements
5
10 years of experience in data/ reporting in financial services (ideally within automotive, leasing, or a similar asset class)
Extensive experience working with complex and challenging data sets
Financial literacy (ideally familiarity with securitisation facilities)
A demonstrated ability to own and deliver reporting projects
Advanced proficiency in Excel/Sheets and a solid command of SQL
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous approach to accuracy and control
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage and prioritise across different workstreams and tight deadlines
