This Associate Manager role requires strong leadership skills and advanced clinical judgement, with critical thinking skills to support the delivery of comprehensive physical, behavioral health, and psychosocial wraparound services
Responsible for daily program oversight, including staff recruitment and retention, problem solving, and fostering collaboration both within and across departments
Engage directly with state partners to ensure alignment with program goals and regulatory expectations
Responsible for the management and supervision of the MLTSS Care Management staff
Oversee Care Managers (CM)s who are assigned to members in concentrated geographic areas
Requirements
Must reside in the state of New Jersey in Somerset, Morris, Essex, Union or Hudson County
Must possess reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time
Must have one of the following active unrestricted NJ State Licensure RN, LSW, or LCSW
1+ years of experience in care management (preferred experience with the MLTSS program), behavioral health, or integrated health care settings
Strong understanding of Medicaid and Medicare, including experience with MLTSS FIDE SNP membership
1+ years of previous leadership experience in a healthcare or managed care environment
Demonstrated ability to independently problem solve, analyze data to identify trends and gaps, and take proactive action to improve member outcomes and program performance
Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring
Experience collaborating with state agencies and external regulators (Vendors)
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Successful completion of the NJ Choice certification is a contingency of employment
