About this role
Role Overview
- Handle commercial auto claims with a focus on resolving material damage components
- Investigate losses, identify coverage, evaluate liability and damages
- Develop plan of action to conclude claims and assess damages
- Collaborate with agents, policyholders, and internal stakeholders
- Establish and maintain proper reserves for claims
- Review and interpret commercial insurance policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 year commercial claims adjusting experience
- AIC or SLA certification preferred
- Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain appropriate state licensing as required
- Ability to travel overnight up to 10%
- Ability to travel daily between locations
