Provide technical support related to compressor station assets, design and troubleshooting
Work collaboratively with multi-discipline teams (e.g. station operations, turbomachinery specialists, facilities integrity) to ensure personal and process safety, reliability, efficiency and business objectives are achieved
Provide subject matter expertise and technical reviews of project information including equipment datasheets, detailed drawings, and operating parameters
Create and peer review engineering work packages for execution via the Asset Management of Change (AMOC) program
Assist with risk identification and development of short
and long-term mitigation plans
Analyze equipment health and performance to develop lifecycle plans and reliability improvements
Requirements
Completion of an Engineering degree
Currently registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGA if located in Alberta and EGBC if located in BC
6 or more years of facility technical experience
5 years of field-based engineering experience in the natural gas processing/transmission industry is an asset
Excellent knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g. ASME, CSA, API)
Experience applying root cause failure analysis (RCFA), hazard identification and risk assessment principles is preferred
Effective interpersonal skills, which includes both verbal and written communication
Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire
Requires a valid passport to travel and work between the US and Canada
