About this role
Role Overview
- Building and operating high-availability cloud and on-premise platforms
- Administering and optimising Kubernetes clusters and OpenShift environments
- Automating infrastructure processes using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
- Ensuring platform security, particularly regarding certificate management and identity protection
- Assisting with the implementation of messaging systems and modern data-streaming solutions
Requirements
- Solid experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift administration
- Practical experience in automation using Terraform and Ansible
- Proficient with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go
- Ideally prior experience with HashiCorp Vault and PKI systems
- Knowledge of Kafka distributions (e.g. Confluent) is an advantage
- Experience delivering complex infrastructure projects within regulated environments
- Fluent written and spoken German (essential)
- Professional-level English is required
- Valid residency and work permit for the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland
