Role Overview
Core Responsibilities
- Manage the combined scope, schedule, and budget for all IT workstreams.
- Identify and mitigate program-level risks and dependencies; lead executive-level escalation processes.
- Track capital budgets, cash flow, and variances; forecast future operating costs.
- Provide progress reporting and decision support to executive leadership.
- Oversee the creation of technical "run books" to ensure a smooth transition from project teams to permanent operations.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Expert knowledge of PM principles and project tracking metrics.
- Proven ability to lead matrixed teams across IT, Facilities, and Clinical domains.
- Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and present to executive management.
- Strong vendor negotiation and contract management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate obstacles and plan contingencies in complex environments.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or Healthcare (Master’s preferred).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) Certification.
- Preferred Knowledge of California HCAI requirements, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, or Healthcare Construction (HCC/CHC).
