Lead cross-functional, high-impact projects—spanning automation, warehouse optimization, material flow innovation, and advanced storage solutions—to modernize plant operations
Own projects end-to-end, including quoting, vendor selection, specification development, equipment commissioning, validation, and operational handoff while maintaining timing, budget, and performance targets
Design and optimize material handling systems, storage strategies, ergonomic layouts, and PFEPs (Plan for Every Part) to improve flow, reduce waste, and enhance cost efficiency
Develop technical requirements, RFQs, cost justifications, and compliance documentation (TS 16949, ISO 14000), ensuring robust engineering and quality standards
Partner with external suppliers to refine concepts, ensure technical alignment, negotiate equipment needs, and support acceptance testing and post-launch optimization
Champion continuous improvement through Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, packaging innovation, and enhancements to returnable dunnage and logistics processes
Introduce new equipment and automation—managing delivery, installation, validation, documentation, training, and production readiness
Collaborate closely with plant leadership, engineering, planning, and logistics teams, providing technical insights and driving long-term improvements in daily operations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 4+ years relevant experience (other bachelor degrees may be considered in lieu of engineering with significant relevant experience)
2+ years hands-on problem-solving experience with material flow or storage equipment
Proficiency in Microsoft tools and CAD software
Strong decision-making abilities with a bias for action
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong time-management prioritization and organizational skills
2+ years Project Management experience in a manufacturing environment
2+ years leading cross-functional teams
2+ years quoting experience
Experience in plant layout design, quoting, cost analysis, budgeting, and blueprint interpretation
