About this role

Backend development for web applications;
Implement and perform unit tests on developed software to ensure quality;
Work closely with the team on requirements analysis, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and related activities;
Follow prescribed methodologies, product guidelines, and client requirements;
Conduct design reviews and contribute to product development;
Work on teams responsible for implementing big data systems.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field;
Advanced/Fluent English (mandatory, to support an international client);
Proven experience programming in Scala;
Proven experience with Apache Spark;
Proven experience building and maintaining large-scale Big Data systems;
Hands-on experience in data engineering projects;
Preferred experience with Kafka and Cassandra (or similar tools); preferred experience with Java;
Preferred experience with Apache Flink.
