Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on telecommunications equipment and on the entire site infrastructure.
Carry out installation, expansion, migration, activation and deactivation of equipment according to technical projects.
Identify faults in air-conditioning units and perform minor repairs.
Replace fuses, circuit breakers and lamps in electrical panels and switchboards as required.
Test battery banks, replace damaged cells/components and perform full replacements when applicable.
Perform fiber-optic tests using OTDR and Power Meter.
Conduct inspections of equipment, stations and optical networks to prepare and update projects and support Operations.
Receive, interpret and implement network improvement projects issued by Engineering.
Perform scheduled maintenance and installations in collaboration with contractors and partners.
Keep the Regional spare parts and repair materials inventory up to date.
Transport small quantities of materials for site installation and maintenance.
Transport, install and operate small generators (two-phase/split-phase or three-phase up to 8 kVA – 127V, 220V or 380V), including refueling, coupling to the site and monitoring operation together with CORE until commercial power is restored.
Ensure site cleanliness, organization and general upkeep.
Perform work during night-time windows when required.
Drive a vehicle for daily travel to job sites.
Requirements
Technical diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics or Electrotechnics.
