About this role
Role Overview
- We are looking for a talented engineer to join our team at Pumpkin.
- You must communicate proactively: raise issues, provide advance notice, and ask questions when in doubt.
- We expect you to be proactive in seeking information and clarifying business rules rather than waiting for everything to be spoon-fed.
- You should understand our architecture, be able to detect issues, and run queries to support investigations.
Requirements
- Strong backend expertise in Python (Flask framework)
- Solid experience with React (JavaScript, HTML, CSS); familiarity with React-Admin is a plus and easy to adopt if you already know React
- Practical experience with AWS at the usage level (infrastructure/configuration is handled by other teams)
- SQL experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Advanced/Fluent English (B2/C1) for negotiation and technical discussions
- Experience with system integration is a plus
