own end-to-end testing of key Raya features and experiments
collaborate with our entire engineering organization to come up with testing strategies and plans
monitor app performance to ensure smooth delivery of new features and updates
support the QA and Client Engineering team initiatives for Raya and Places, by Raya
leverage AI tools to enhance test coverage, generate test cases, analyze logs, or improve QA workflows
advocate for the consumer
Requirements
5+ years of experience in manual QA within modern software development environments, supporting scalable mobile applications
Experience navigating both the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Test Life Cycle (STLC)
Experience working within agile methodologies across all development phases
Proficient in Jira; experienced testing in sandbox environments, creating detailed test cases, using iOS Console, and maintaining up-to-date documentation
Eagerness to embrace Raya's QA process, ethos and practices
Excited about incorporating AI into QA best practices
Strong collaborative instincts, emphasizing open communication, transparency, and cross-team interaction
Industry experience testing applications for a variety of smartphones and tablets
Ability to isolate defects effectively, as well as provide specific conditions for reproducibility
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Passion for quality in the mobile space
