Head of Data Strategy

Role Overview

• Lead the data agenda and execute the data use strategy.
• Design and implement the data use strategy for the GI Business.
• Lead and develop a high-performing data team.
• Build partnerships across business and technology teams to maximize the value of data assets.
• Embed a data-driven culture in the organization.
• Identify new data opportunities for enhancing customer value.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data strategy or data management related work.
• Proven track record of leading and developing organisational Data Strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology or similar.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong expertise in data science and modern data platforms (e.g. Databricks).
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and programming skills in Python, SQL, and JSON.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Deep knowledge of data governance and security policies.
• Knowledge of Automation Tools an advantage (e.g. Blue Prism).
