About this role
Role Overview
Receive incident reports and service requests by phone, e‑mail, ticketing system or in person
Log requests in the ticketing system, prioritize them and document their processing
Diagnose and resolve standard issues on workstations, printers, mobile devices and the network
Support staff in the use of the hospital information system and other clinical applications
Assist with password issues and questions about access rights
Advise users about our IT services and applications
Escalate more complex requests to second‑level support or external service providers and track their resolution
Maintain the knowledge base and keep solution procedures up to date
Assist with IT asset management
Requirements
Successfully completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT specialist/Fachinformatiker; IT systems sales specialist/IT‑Systemkaufmann) or an equivalent qualification
Experience in IT support or a helpdesk role, ideally in healthcare
Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and common Office applications
Basic understanding of networks, printers and mobile devices
Ability to explain technical assistance clearly and understandably
Ideally, experience with hospital information systems (HIS) and ticketing systems
Basic knowledge of IT security and data protection
Good command of German, both written and spoken
Personable, flexible and a team player
