About this role
Role Overview
Personnel leadership and organization of the security service in a three-shift operation (early, late and night shifts)
Coordination of in-house staff and external security service providers
Support for shift management in site security operations (shift service Monday to Saturday, 48 hours/week)
Preparation of duty instructions and security analyses; handling of administrative tasks
Close cooperation with the lead security engineer (e.g., implementation of protection concepts for site security and events, monitoring and verification of security measures)
Requirements
Successful completion of the IHK examination as a Specialist for Protection and Security
Several years of professional experience in comparable roles, e.g., in a leadership position as security or operations supervisor with personnel responsibility
Physical fitness for extended patrols (up to 6 km) and for working outdoors
Confident use of IT applications and Microsoft Office programs
Knowledge of access control and visitor management systems is an advantage
Knowledge of dangerous goods regulations is an advantage (practical experience in vehicle inspections)
High level of organizational skills, commitment and a flexible working style
Reliable, service-oriented work approach, initiative and assertiveness
Willingness to pursue continuous professional development
Driving licence class B (Category B)
Strong team and communication skills
German language proficiency (C2 level) and English language skills (A2 level)

Salary in accordance with the Collective Agreement for the Federal Public Service (TVöD Bund), with adjusted pay scale to reflect the increased weekly working hours (48 hrs instead of the standard 39 hrs)
Payment of shift allowance and surcharges according to TVöD Bund
