About this role
Role Overview
- Development of customized POS (Point of Sale) solutions for the most well-known retailers in the German-speaking region
- Implementation and further development of the internal retail platform
- Product development within one of the agile Scrum teams — together with the PO, backend and cloud engineers, and software testers
- Greenfield development for new customer requirements
- Close collaboration with teams across a total of 5 locations in Germany and Portugal
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of modern Java technologies with Spring Boot
- Initial experience with automated testing (JUnit, Mockito)
- Web/Mobile technologies (Flutter/Dart, gRPC) or microservices architectures
- Initial practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Tilt, or Kafka is a plus
- Interest in working in an agile environment (Scrum)
- Very good German language skills
