Conduct microbiology risk assessment for all new product and new raw material development by working together with product developers to ensure the quality and food safety of product and raw materials with right microbiology measures;
Develops and advises on validation, monitoring and verification plans to provide the necessary microbiological assurance to the business
Provides effective knowledge transfer to support stakeholders, through development and supply of training materials and other tools
Advises on “fit for purpose” of recipes, raw materials and processes with respect to microbiological control
Provide technical support in the event of microbiological issues throughout the supply chain in a troubleshooter capacity;
In co-operation with regulatory, Vendor QA, Category Quality and Operations, leverage the company position with advisory, regulatory, governmental and scientific bodies by building and maintaining comprehensive communication networks and scientific contact points for retrieving and verifying significant microbiological information with business impact.
Requirements
Bachelor degree or above, major in Microbiology, Food Science, or related.
Minimum 6 years’ experience including extensive practical working knowledge of the plant environment
Must bring experience of Industrial Microbiology
Must have experience of validation and verification systems across product, process and environment.
Must have a curious and tenacious approach to work
Demonstrate the ability to influence across the organization without direct line reporting
