Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across compute, storage, networking, serverless, messaging, and workflow orchestration capabilities
Design and operate automated delivery pipelines that support builds, testing, releases, and safe deployments
Partner with development teams to ensure smooth promotion of services into production, including release readiness and operational handoffs
Drive availability and reliability through performance tuning, capacity planning, autoscaling strategies, and proactive alerting/incident response
Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code to standardize environments, improve repeatability, and reduce manual operations
Embed security best practices into infrastructure, delivery workflows, and runtime operations to protect sensitive data and reduce vulnerabilities
Mentor junior engineers and encourage a culture of shared ownership, documentation, and continuous improvement
Take ownership of platform initiatives from concept through delivery, ensuring outcomes align with timelines and business goals
Maintain and enhance existing platform services to meet evolving business requirements
Requirements
5–9 years in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud security engineering, or related roles
Strong hands-on experience operating a major cloud provider across compute, storage, networking, databases, monitoring, and security controls
Proven ability to define and manage infrastructure through declarative templates and automated provisioning practices
Experience supporting both relational and key-value / NoSQL database technologies, including performance, backup/recovery, and availability considerations
Comfortable working across Windows and Linux, with knowledge of modern packaging/containerization approaches
Experience with logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerting to enable rapid detection and resolution of issues
Hands-on familiarity with modern automated testing and release practices, including test-driven approaches where applicable
Proficiency in one or more scripting languages commonly used for automation and systems tasks
Strong troubleshooting and systems thinking, able to work independently and collaboratively
Able to clearly explain technical decisions and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
