Work within established data models to understand data structures and entity relationships.
Contribute to the maintenance and documentation of existing data models.
Perform descriptive data analysis under the guidance of senior analysts to identify trends and patterns.
Prepare basic reports and visualizations to present data insights to stakeholders.
Work closely with data engineers, project managers, and senior analysts to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Provide timely updates on assigned tasks and proactively communicate any roadblocks.
Ensure data accuracy by cross-checking data for assigned tasks.
Adhere to data security and compliance regulations and standards.
Participate in code reviews to learn from senior analysts and ensure adherence to best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in SQL (ability to write basic queries).
Experience with dbt (or similar data transformation tools) is a plus.
Experience with data visualization tools like Looker, Looker Studio, or equivalent BI tools is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Familiar with data warehousing fundamental concepts and ETL processes; Understanding basic database normalization concepts and entity relationships, and follows established data models.
