About this role
Role Overview
Achieves established sales and retention goals through strategic selling activities.
Provides leadership and guidance to other sales executives, extended sales team members, and support staff.
Develop a strategic sales plan to identify new business relationships.
Partners with advisor organizations to drive acceptance of Vanguard solutions.
Represents Vanguard's investments and services in various settings.
Leverages vendor partnership to deliver 401k plan solutions.
Develops strong relationships with senior and executive management of prospect and client organizations.
Identifies prospect/client needs and proposes appropriate Vanguard solutions.
Raises awareness of Vanguard's investments through targeted prospecting activities.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Master’s degree and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred.
Three to five years financial services experience with at least two years of successful institutional sales experience preferred.
Up to 25% travel is required.
This job requires a regulatory license and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, state, SFC). Series 7 and Series 63 required.
