Lead Director, Business Consulting – Medicare Investment Management

Role Overview

• Facilitate and drive the completion of business cases to support Medicare’s strategic programs from ideation to benefit realization
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the Medicare investment management team
• Look for opportunities to continuously improve the process
• Collaborate with Medicare Finance team and Capital Planning team
• Define investments and associated benefits
• Create and manage the $100M+ Medicare investment portfolio throughout the year
• Prepare executive-level presentations to support the investment portfolio
• Assess risks and opportunities, recommending funding reallocations as needed

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in a matrixed organizational environment
• 8–10 years of progressive financial experience with a focus on business case development and benefit realization
• Proactive and self-motivated approach
• Advanced analytical skills for financial analysis and investment recommendations
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proven capability to drive performance improvements
• Knowledge of Medicare (Preferred)
• Experience working with IT on large complex initiatives (Preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (preferred)
