Foster collaboration with partner teams (NPI, Product Management, Design, Supply Chain, Data, and Operations).
Provide subject matter expertise in hardware applications, functionality, and interoperability.
Develop an end-to-end vendor development program that focuses on providing quality products to fulfill customer needs.
Represent Sunrun when meeting with senior executive teams from top vendors and build-long term strategic relationships.
Document quality issues and performance measures for management review.
Develop and lead quarterly and annual business reviews for their area of responsibilities.

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related science required.
10+ years of relevant experience in Hardware Engineering, Product Development, or Hardware development Program Management.
Minimum 3 years demonstrated leadership of other engineers.
Experience in Renewable Energy systems at the residential, commercial, industrial, or utility level.
Must have experience in Battery Systems, Photovoltaics and their interactions.
Comprehensive understanding of Renewable Energy hardware, quality, and installation standards.
Proven negotiating skills, influencing abilities, and vendor management experience.
Strong knowledge of data analysis, mathematics, and statistical techniques.
