Role Overview
- Ensure high standards of quality and own all QA offerings and services by leading the quality initiatives
- Escalate risks and known issues promptly and frequently
- Deliver quality releases to our clients
- Collaborate with teams to guarantee the success of the project
- Create and implement testing plan, mitigate bugs, and maintain project standards
- Write and maintain automated tests for user stories and features throughout a project’s life cycle
- Perform Manual QA of developer work
- Communicate risks and issues proactively
- Work independently and own testing decisions and results
- Advocate for solutions and determine bugs’ severity
- Share knowledge through blogging and/or meetups
- Ensure tests adhere to accepted best practice guidelines
Requirements
- Agree with our Corporate Values Statement
- 3+ years of experience with quality assurance
- Ability to create and implement testing strategies for a variety of projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with full-stack testing
- Working knowledge of CLI
- Understanding of Git workflows and practices
- Experience working with SCRUM methodologies (Nice to have)
- Experience with automated test suites like Cypress (Nice to have)
- Experience using / creating a Continuous Integration process (Nice to have)
