Resolve network security incidents within critical SLAs through effective troubleshooting and root-cause identification.
Perform configuration and housekeeping activities including Layer 2/3 analysis, device upgrades, replacements, and performance optimisation.
Plan and implement internal and customer changes aligned with ITIL processes.
Raise and manage hardware vendor tickets, coordinating replacements and returns as per SLA while following escalation pathways where required.
Document technical procedures and share knowledge by coaching and mentoring team members.
Review and approve change requests ensuring adherence to security and operational guidelines.
Drive self-development by working towards industry-recognised certifications across supported technologies and expanding skills in emerging network security tools.
Requirements
Proficient in Fortigate Firewalls (Primary Skill).
Knowledgeable in FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, IDS/IPS (Alternate Skills).
Experienced in troubleshooting and resolving network issues in a structured, SLA-driven environment.
Comfortable working within ITIL-aligned operational processes.
Collaborative, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.
Able to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to evolving technical landscapes.
