Role Overview
- Implementation of tailored solutions for the Volkswagen Group
- Building ETL and ELT pipelines for analytics and machine learning applications

Requirements
- Completed degree in (business) computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field (or demonstrably equivalent qualification)
- Solid knowledge and experience in data provisioning and transformation
- Experience with AWS services and tools such as Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions
- Strong understanding of database concepts
- Practical experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks such as Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, AWS Glue and/or AWS Data Pipeline
- Knowledge of data modeling and optimization for analytical and machine learning applications
- Experience programming in Python, Scala, or similar languages
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, MapReduce, Apache Kafka
- Experience implementing and managing data pipelines
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as GitHub workflows, CDK, Terraform
- Ability to analyze data issues and develop effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills
