End-to-end responsibility for internal and external management of the entire supplier management process.
Validation of schedules and conducting commitment meetings for components.
Ensuring supply that meets quality, schedule and capacity requirements.
Management and oversight of the timely and quality-compliant production of plants, tools and production equipment with international suppliers, plant manufacturers and toolmakers.
Follow-up on firmly committed first-sample dates as part of maturity verification for critical purchased parts.
Initiation and implementation of appropriate corrective measures in case of schedule deviations, and ensuring status-appropriate supply during pre-series and series ramp-up (delivery quantities, dates, customer readiness).
Support for supplier factory preparation in the context of Greenfield and Brownfield projects.
Field assignments to support cost analyses, tool relocations, scrapping actions, shortage situations, insolvency cases or operational disruptions.
Requirements
Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a comparable field.
Several years of professional experience in supplier management, ideally in an international environment.
Solid knowledge of production processes, auditing and technical supplier development.
Strong communication skills, negotiation confidence and assertiveness.
Willingness to travel and intercultural competence.
Excellent written and spoken German and English.
