About this role
Role Overview
- Assist with complex surgical procedures and ensure a smooth workflow in the operating room
- Prepare and maintain/sterilize medical instruments
- Support the medical/surgical team during operations
- Ensure patient safety
- Learn intraoperative instrument handling (scrubbing/assisting) and the operation of medical-technical devices
Requirements
- Secondary school leaving certificate (Mittlerer Schulabschluss) or lower secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss) with at least two years of vocational training
- Assistant or helper qualification in nursing of at least one year
- B2 language certificate if the school leaving certificate was obtained outside Germany
- Senate recognition of the school leaving certificate
