About this role
Role Overview
- Responsible for the software engineering of our packaging machines
- Programming of the machine visualization (HMI), control and drive systems in TIA Portal
- Performing hardware and software commissioning of the machines
- Supporting the sales and service departments with technical inquiries about the machines
- Supporting retrofit projects to integrate new machine modules at customer sites
Requirements
- Vocational training in electrical engineering with further qualification as a technician or master craftsman (m/f/d)
- Proven professional experience in PLC programming for industrial machinery
- Knowledge of TIA Portal and drive technology
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and a strong willingness to perform and learn
- Good command of English
- Familiarity with common MS Office applications
