About this role
Role Overview
You will support the analysis of large-scale test-drive data from prototype trials and automatically identify relevant events, patterns, and correlations
You will contribute to the interpretation of the derived data and extract well-founded insights for the further development of the engine and transmission application in the V8/V12 powertrain
You will help evaluate existing BMW internal analysis tools regarding their performance and suitability
You will support the development of new analysis features or prototype tools that enable efficient and scalable data processing
You will contribute in a coordinated way to the creation of a structured analysis framework that improves the quality, reproducibility, and significance of future data evaluations
Your results will lead to concrete recommendations for the targeted and efficient further development of the application
Requirements
Enrolled in a technical degree program (Engineering)
Bachelor’s or Master’s program
Confident user of MS Office; ideally prior experience with MATLAB/Simulink
Driver’s license (Class B)
Teamwork and communication skills
Enthusiasm for modern powertrain development and automobiles
Good German and English language skills
